Abstract (EN)
In this study, stress and deformation in planar structures, which attached with fillet weld, has analysed under axial tensile force with finite element method.Similar analysis has performed for the planar structures, which were welded with weld bevel. Deformation and stress behavior for the weld connections with and without weld bevel were compared. In addition, the change of stress intensity factor was determined at filled weld connections with and without partial weld bevel, with different thickness, width and boundary conditions. Behavior of the crack progress was determined by manually crack formation at possible crack locations in the structure.Finite element method was used for analysis. ANSYS 12.0 program was used.
