Abstract (EN)
Fillet welds often meets to us in constructive design. In this study it has been aim to make linear elastic fracture mechanics analysis of fillet weld. Weld metal material and material of the welded components are accepted as the same. Fillet weld joint is analyzed under tensile force and torsional moment.The models are built up by two dimensional finite elements. It has been used finite elements methods for analysis and made of Ansys programme. The different variations of filet weld combining were investigated and the result were compared. It has searched how stress intensity factors are changed according to different forms. At the end of the study it has been found crack growth direction under tensile force.
