Abstract (EN)
Koshke (Koshmuhamed) Kemengeruly was a Kazakh intellectual. Kemengeruly who was born in 1876, who was massacred during the time of Stalin and was shot dead in 1937. Koshke Kemengeruly is a well-educated intellectual, who has improved himself according to the period in which he lived. His works illuminate well his period. In his plays, stories and articles, it is possible to see injustice of the period and social problems. Kazakh traditions are frequently encountered in his plays, and old traditions and customs are criticized from time to time. In Kemengeruly's works, the issues and difficulties of the Kazakh women can be seen. The descriptions and metaphors used by the author have envived the texts.
