The perception of organization culture at schools in Prizren, Kosovo

The aim of the current study was to determine the differences at primary schools giving an education in different languages in terms of the perception of organization culture in the town of Prizren in Kosovo. In that way, getting to know about the differences over the perception of organization culture it schools giving an education in different languages in Prizren, Kosovo will make a contribution to understand the expected mission of these schools better and to the enlightenment of the future vision of these schools. In addition, there has been no comparative study carried out into the content of organizational culture in the primary schools giving in education in different languages in Prizren, Kosovo. In this sense, the study is thought to be of importance as it is the first study in this field and will be able to supply researchers aiming at conducting a study into organization culture with sources.The working group of the study consisted of teachers working at the primary schools giving in an education in the town of Prizren, Kosovo.Quantitative research method was used in the study and the data was collected through a semi-structured interview form. The teachers of a total 5 primary school in the town of Prizren were interviewed. At the end of the interviews, the audio records were deciphered with the consent of the participants. Descriptive analysis technique was used in the analysis of the data.The findings of the research revealed that there are some differences over the perception of organizational cultures at the primary schools giving an education in different languages in Prizren, Kosovo. At the end of the research, the culture of duty took place at the lowest level among the cultural dimension at the primary schools. In addition, a difference was found between the primary school giving an education in three languages and the ones giving an education in one and two languages in terms of organization culture perceptions.Depending on the results of the research, it is likely to recommend that the negative effects of bureaucratic structure be reduced to minimum and more studies be carried out in this issue. In modern time when we experience a rapid development in scientific, economic, technologic and social fields, it is essential that both schools and Kosovan Education System be dealt with and restructured again in order to allow them to fulfill what is expected from them and solve these problems.
