The research of ethics and social responsibility on the village development co-operative; The case of Kastamonu village devolopment and ther agricultural-purpase co-operatives union

Today, with the socio-economic changes brought about by globalization, there has also been a change in the mission and vision of the institutions, which has led to the creation of some ethical and social responsibility concepts of collecting by changing the fact that the sole purpose of the institutions is not to increase their profitability and maintain their continuity. Today it is now widely accepted that institutions need to have ethical and social responsibility understandings and that significant contributions should be made to the society and the environment they are in. This is now also true for co-operatives that are regulating socio-economic structures as well as for commercial enterprises with commercial purposes. Especially in our country where agriculture is important, agricultural co-operatives in rural areas are considered to be one of the important factors affecting the socio-economic structure of the region. In this regard, it is important for the country as much as for the region that the agriculture, which is one of the basic income components of the rural sector, is implemented within the scope of certain scope. For this reason, the importance of increasing ethics and social responsibility practices, especially today, has become an increasingly important issue for regional cooperative organizations in the region as well as national and international institutions. The aim of this research is to investigate ethical and social responsibility applications, which are two important concepts in terms of institutions and institutionalization, today in Village Development Cooperatives. In this study, ethical and social responsibility applications applied in Kastamonu Village Development and Other Agricultural Cooperatives Association were investigated.
