Comparison of the dairy cattle breeding enterprises which are associates of Köy-Koop and the ones which are not, on the basis of acceptance of agricultural innovations

In this study, enterprises which are associates of Köy-Koop. and the ones who are not are, comperatively analyzed on the basis of acceptance of agricultural innovations in the villages in which dairy cattle breeding is common. Survey is conducted through simple random sampling method on 161 farmers which are residents of 38 villages in Çanakkale main town and in which dairy cattle breeding is made.In determination of the factors effective on the basis of acceptance of agricultural innovations, Chi-square and logistic regression methods are used. Purpose of the usage of Chi-square and logistic regression methods is the same with the other model configuration techniques in statistics. In the model, as whether being an associate of Köy-Koop or not, are used as dependent variables ; personal charactersitics, characteristics of enterprises, characteristics of agricultural innovations and information sources of farmers are used as independent variables.As the enterprises making dairy cattle breeding, which are associates of Köy-Koop and the ones who are not are compared on the basis of acceptance of agricultural innovations, it is stated that the ones who are/are not associate of Köy-Koop because of economic and association consciousness factors, participation to agricultural expo, visits of staff of farmer associations and provinicil directorate of agricultue, information sources (forma lor informal) and cognizance and contributions to application of new technologies of farmer associations are significant in respect of statistics.Key words: Acceptance of agricultural agricultural innovations, factor, association.
