Evaluation of kozan district symbol values by urban users in the context of ecotourism

The negative consequences of global warming, which are effective all over the world, have led many sectors to develop environmentally sensitive and sustainable approaches. The concept of ecological solutions and sustainability can be found in every area as in urban planning and design. In the field of tourism, the concept of ecotourism is a concept which has been emphasized in recent years in the world and in our country and is the subject of academic studies. In this thesis, the urban values of Kozan district of Adana are emphasized within the framework of the potential of ecotourism, and the introduction of Kozan without losing its historical and ecological values, with a new arrangement in both architecture and urban scale, is thought to create public and social benefit for Adana province and Kozan district. The study is aimed to put forward. Within the scope of this research plan, the methods and techniques that will enable the participation of local government and the public, and the determination of application areas constitute the subjects of this project.
