Özet (EN)

Cosmic rays are high energy particles entering the Earth's atmosphere from the outer space. As a consequence of interaction of these particles with the atoms in the atmosphere many new particles are produced, among which are muons. Muons are the most numerous charged particles at sea level since they weakly interact with matter and they experience relativistic time dilation due to their high speeds. In this study, the cosmic muon flux angular dependence, with respect to the vertical, at sea level, is investigated using the cosmic ray detector, designed at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and built at Sakarya University, Department of Physics.Key Words: Muon, Cosmic Ray Detector, Angular Dependence
