Abstract (EN)
In this study, different fixation methods for cranial bones are examined by finite element method. Used fixation methods are miniplate and screw, titanium clamp and wire fixation At the first stage we designed fixation methods by using Solidworks. Then finite element analysis is made with ANSYS Workbench. 50 N( weight of skull), 300 N and 0,002 MPa pressure are applied on all implants. Also preload force is calculated for screws in miniplate and screws. The force that applied on every each wire is calculated for wire fixation method. At the last stage deformation and stresses are examined and compare between fixation methods by this.
