Abstract (EN)

Abstract: In recent years, with the increase in production speed and money supply, a concept called consumption culture has emerged in the world, and each individual has attempted to purchase in order to consume itself outside of the product and service it needs. The use of credit cards has become widespread as a result of the increasing competitive environment in the banking sector, efforts to create intensive markets and market shares. With these developments, the use of credit cards has become common among students. The aim of the study is to determine the credit card usage habits of university students. Quantitative research method was applied in this study, which was conducted to determine the effects of credit cards owned by university students on their consumption behavior, money management and attitudes, to detect all the problems they experience as a result of using credit cards, and to determine their awareness.
