An etimolojical study on the verbs beginning with vowels in Kyrgyz Turkish

The study examines the verbs beginning with the vowels used in Kyrgyz literary language in terms of etimology. The verbs studied have been determined in the ?Kyrgyz-Russian Dictionary? by K.K. Yudahin. The study contains: ?Preface?, ?Contents?, ?Symbols?, ?Abbreviations?, Chapter I: Introduction?, ?Chapter II: Analysis?, ?Chapter III: Findings and Discussions: Classification of the verbs according to their meanings and additional functions?, ?Chapter IV: Conclusion?, ?Bibliography?, and the ?Summary? part.In this study the verbs beginning with the vowels used in Kyrgyz literary language have been studied in terms of etimology. The verbs have been determined in the ?Kyrgyz-Russian Dictionary? by K.K. Yudahin. The study contains: ?Preface?, ?Contents?, ?Symbols?, ?Abbreviations?, Chapter I: Introduction?, ?Chapter II: Analysis?, ?Chapter III: Findings and Discussion: Classification of the verbs according to their meanings and additional functions?, ?Chapter IV: Conclusion?, ?Bibliography?, and the ?Summary? part in Turkish and English.Firstly, according to the phonological arrangements Kyrgyz verbs have been divided into 4 categories as the verbs (1)consisting of a vowel; (2) of vowel and consonant; (3) of vowel, consonant and vowel and (4) vowel, consonant and consonant . As the classification has been made on the basis of the Modern Kyrgyz Turkish, long vowels were evaluated as single phonemes. The verbs evaluated in this way, also, have been studied under four groups according to their phonological arrangement. Then in each group the verbs appropriate to that group have been analysed under the subgroups. Each subgroup contains one verb root/ etymon. In the analysis of the verb roots/ etymons, primarily, their meanings and forms in Kyrgyz Turkish have been taken into consideration and then their meanings and forms in Old Turkish and their meanings in etymologic studies have been presented respectively.
