Reflection of the tulip revolotion in Kyrgyzstan on the Turkish-Kirghiz press

In this study, approaches of the sample Turkish and Kirghiz newspapers to the event called the Tulip Revolution happened on March 24, 2005, in Kyrgyzstan is examined in a comparative way and together with quantitative and qualitative analysis. At the end of the study which looked for an answer to the question that ?what are the main characteristics in approaches of Turkish and Kirghiz newspapers towards the Tulip Revolution?? it is observed that the newspapers in these two countries have both parallel and divergent coverage of the event from specific point of views. Moreover, it is recognized that, Turkish newspapers touched upon the event considerably, yet not as much as the Kirghiz newspapers naturally did. An examination of the main arguments in the news shows that they either emphasized the questions of the day like acts of outrage, the chaos atmosphere, inequality of income and wealth, power relations, or they called people for common sense or tranquility.
