Crisis management and an implementation for the solution of the possible crisis in enterprises with multi-criteria decision-making methods

Despite the increase in competition with the developing technology today, limited resources are factors in the emergence of important risks. While businesses continue their activities in this risky environment, all of them faced with the danger of crisis. Before the crisis occurs, it is critical to identify the possible risks that may create a crisis and to prevent these risks before they turn into a crisis with the aim of reducing negative effects if they have occurred or obtaining positive results from the crises to carry out an effective crisis management in the enterprises. For this purpose, in this study the crisis factors were examined in detailed and possible crisis factors which may arise were investigated. The impact values of the identified possible crisis factors were evaluated through a questionnaire created with the participation of experts from the real sector and prioritized by being weighted with the DEMATEL, one of the MCDM methods. In this weighting procedure, the relation matrices of all the criteria were built and a conclusion was reached on how to approach in a possible crisis.
