Individual and organization analysis of human resources in crisis management: An application in health sector

Abstract (EN)

In today's extremely competitive business world, companies are likely to face crisis situations. Maintaining the integrity of institutions and achieving corporate goals in these situations are only possible with proper management and organization. Companies can resolve crisis situations by appropriately managing their human resources. In this study, the definition of crisis and crisis management, characteristics of crisis, internal and external factors leading to the crisis, crisis processes, developing strategic models for crisis prevention with crisis management and human resources management have been covered/examined. Concepts of human resource management, history of human resource management, principles of human resource management, the importance of human resources management in companies with differences between human resources management and personnel management, as well as various functions of human resources management have also been looked at. In this thesis, the individual and organizational effects of the crisis on human resources management have been analyzed. In the third section/chapter, a survey was conducted to determine the working conditions of the employees in a health institution, where information about the purpose, importance, scope and the limitations of the research, as well as the research method and scales used have been mentioned. The research revealed problems in the human resources management and working conditions of the institution and provided assessments and recommendations.
