Study of village names of Kırklareli province

This study is designed to investigate the historical process and etymological structure of the given name of the province of Kırklereli and its districts. İt has examined a total of 178 villages connected to the province of Kırklareli and its districts. The causes of the given name of the villages, relationships between these causes have been identified with studied villages. The etymological structures of the villages, historical settlement stories that is obtained from people belonging to village and the written sources and process of the change taking place in the village names is explained. This study partitioned to as onomastic, history of the province of Kırklareli and its districts, structure and content of classification of the villages, etymological and historical structure of the villages. Each section is subdivided in itself and a description is made. The province of Kırklareli was examined in the field of toponomik, and also mentions about the concept that certain sociological reasons that effect and the causes the date of the settlement of the province. The study that contains both linguistic and folklore elements would be rich and useful resources because of in this respect that it has.
