Abstract (EN)
The thesis study titled `?The linguistic characteristics of the story book `Yıllar ve Dostlar? by Crimean-Tatar story writer Ayder Osman `?is studied under these subtitles:translation,translation into Turkish Language and grammar. In the translation part,the translation of the work from Kiril alphabet into Latin alphabet is done with the help of the programme `?Gaspıralı?? on the web site of Ministry of Culture. While translating into Turkish Language,the original meanings are taken into consideration and the structure of the language remains unchanged.Translation is done with the help of various sources In the grammar part,two subtitles ?Morphology and Phonetics- are used.In Morphology :suffixes and prefixes,types of words,compound words; in Phonetics: the characteristics of consonants and vowels are studied. In glossary part,the meanings of the unknown words mentioned in the original text are found and listed without ignoring their original meanings. The thesis study is completed with `?References Part?? including the applied sources.
