Özet (EN)

The purpose of this study was the Turkish adaptation of Freiburg Life Quality Assessment for Chronic Venous Short Form (FLQA-VS-10) which is developed to assess the quality of life of cronic venous insufficiency patients. 129 individuals whose mean age was 50,39±14,9 years were included who were diagnosed and recieved or will be received treatment for cronic venous insufficiency were participated to the study. Turkish adaptation of FLQA-VS-10 was made by following the stages of intercultural adaptation process. FLQA-VS-10 was performed after one week for test-retest reliability and assessed by Intra Class Corelation (ICC). Internal consistency was calculated by Cronbach's Alpha. Nottingham Health Profile (NHP), Chronic Venous Insufficiency Questionnaire (CIVIQ) and Venous Insufficiency Epidemiological and Economic Study Quality of Life / Symptoms (VEINES-QOL/Sym) was administered for validity of FLQA-VS-10. Kaiser-Meyer-Olsen test (KMO) was used to evaluate whether the data is suitable for factor analysis. Intra Class Corelation (ICC) complience coefficient changed between 0,87-0,94 (p<0,0001). Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was found 0,91. Corelation was found between total score of FLQA-VS-10 and sub-dimentions of NHP, CIVIQ and VEINES-QOL/Sym for validity. Kaiser-Meyer-Olsen statistic result 0,83 and it was determined that the data was suitable for factor analysis. It was determined that FLQA-VS-10 was a a valid and reliable questionnaire for Turkish cronic venous insufficiency patients. The validity of FLQA-VS-10 was tested with disease specific health related quality of life questionnaires.
