Interpretation of the cultural values of Kırşehir province with painting art

Cultures constitute a set of values over the centuries. With this set of values they have, cultures continue to survive. These are visible and invisible values. This study handles the province of Kırşehir in the axis of "Culture and Cultural Design" based on visible cultural values. With a rich cultural heritage, Kırşehir has hosted many civilizations. It has been a center where Turkish culture is kept alive. With this reality, Kırşehir has an important place with its historical artifacts, culture and educated great people. Our cultural values have suffered serious losses in the future. In today's world, it is very important to keep alive, protect, keep as a spiritual value and pass it on to the next generations of our cultural existence that has fallen from the agenda of people and seems doomed to disappear. Cultural values and location of Kırşehir province were determined and existing findings were reached. The cultural values in the city were interpreted with the art of painting, and the existing cultural heritage was made meaningful through the art of painting. Cultural values are emphasized. It is aimed to create awareness and contribute to our cultural values, especially the cultural values of Kırşehir. The study has been handled in terms of culture and cultural design. In this study, the cultural values and location of Kırşehir province were determined by literature review and documented with photographs. Located in the province of Kırşehir; mosques, madrasas, churches, caravanserais, bridges, castles, tombs, prominent figures of the Abdal Culture of Kırşehir, marriage traditions and customs, subjects were researched. Among these cultural values, Cacabey Madrasah, Ahi Evran, Abdal Culture, Aşıkpaşa, Weaving Tradition and some of the mosques were interpreted artistically and conveyed with the art of painting. Technically, oil paint, acrylic paint and relief techniques were used on canvas. Studies; Surrealist, Expressionist perspective is addressed with the aim of abstract effects.
