Production of short fiber reinforced polymer matrix composites by injection moulding method

ABSTRACTPolymer matrix composites have a great importance and a wide range of application fieldbecause of their superior mechanic, physical and chemical properties. These materials have astrategic importance for all countries of the world. The polymer matrix composites aregenerally used in aerospace, chemical, aircraft, defence, automotive and medical industries.Matrix and fiber technologies have a great development in the last 30 year time period.The major disadvantage of composites materials is high production cost. Injection mouldingtechniques is useful for production of short fiber reinforced polymer matrix composites.
