On some fixed point theorems in partial metric spaces

In the first part of this thesis, general information about the studies related fixed point theory in metric spaces and partial metric spaces is given. In the second part of the this thesis it is mentioned that basic definitions, examples and concepts with about metric spaces and fixed points. In the third section, the concept of partial metric space is given and this partial metric spaces are compared with the metric spaces. Also, some new topological conceps in the partial metric spaces are mentioned. Finally, in the fourth part, the theorems related with fixed point, coincidence point and common fixed point are proved for some contractive mappings on partial metric spaces.
