Locality in quantum mechanics

In this MSc thesis, we work on the foundational problems in quantum mechanics which are completeness and locality. EPR paper which is the beginning point of these problems is introduced and investigated from the hidden parameter point of view which proposed for the solution. The work held by Bell showed that even if quantum mechanics formulation provides the criteria of the completeness, it has non-local character. While the special theory of relativity suggests that the interactions occur with certain speed, Q.M. exhibits some phenomena which is exactly opposite to the criterion of relativity theory. Investigating the problem is of great importance because; it conflicts two important theories of physics each other. The attempts for the solution of the problem may imply more general theory which contains both of these theories.
