Özet (EN)

In our study, 96 patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer with biofilm chip-based microarray method (Infiniti Autogenomics®) in the identification of EGFR, KRAS and BRAF gene mutations. The relationship with smoking, patient gender, tumor type and stage of the disease in the Turkish population and mutations in these genes determine the frequency and reliability used to determine the specific of the method. In our study, we have 96 patient with 58 cases were adenocarcinoma, 30 cases were squamous cell carcinoma, and 8 cases of them large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma group. Grain of 58 patients with adenocarcinoma of 14 patients (24.1%) were detected EGFR mutations, and in 12 patients (20.6%) KRAS mutations were found. Only 1 out of 30 cases diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma (3.3%) had KRAS mutation. In large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma group only 1 case of 8 cases (12.5%) had KRAS mutations. EGFR mutation were higher in female gender patients with no history of smoking and consistent with the literature. EGFR mutations, patients diagnosed with adenocarcinoma were found to be significantly higher than in patients diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. KRAS mutation had no relationship between gender and smoking. In adenocarcinoma group KRAS mutation were found to be significantly higher than in squamous cell carcinoma group. With the presence of all three mutations was not observed between tumor size, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis and stage of the disease Key words: EGFR, KRAS, BRAF, microarray, lung cancer
