Comparison and evaluation of "Little Black Fish" and "Marti Jonathan Livingston" in terms of critical thinking

In this study, the comparison and evaluation of "Little Black Fish" by the Azeri-origin Iranian writer Samed Behrengi and "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" by the American writer Richard Bach in terms of critical thinking is also discussed. The aim of this study is to reveal that the way of revealing the critical thinking skill of the Works that emerged in different nations, cultures, beliefs and languages, the method of gaining this skill and its contribution to the people. It is discussed how the similar, different and common aspects of critical thinking in these works, which are the product of different cultures, are revealed according to the chosen genre. The study was compared by examining the works in question using document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods. In the study, using the data of Comparative Literature Science, two Works were evaluated in the context of critical thinking. The 21st century, which is called the age of science and technology, is an age in which it is very easy to reach information, but it is very difficult to find the right information that will be useful to us among the countless information stacks. The process of accessing information, which used to take days and months, has decreased to minutes or even seconds thanks to technology. The main problem is how to sort out such information density and pollution and how to reach the right information. It has been revealed as a result of the study that the ability to reach and use the right information from this pile of information by using critical thinking skills and to eliminate the wrong information. In this context, a way to get rid of the negative effects of information pollution and turn it into an advantage is presented.
