Abstract (EN)

Intrapreneurship describes the entrepreneurial orientation and activities inside existing organizations. Intrapreneurship is essential for large organizations as well as small and medium sized enterprises, because it has positive effects on organization revitalization and organizational performance improvement. In this study, the organizational factors affecting the dimensions of intrapreneurship are studied. These dimensions are innovativeness, risk taking, proactiveness, autonom, new business venturing, self-renewal and competitive aggressiveness. The organizational factors influencing the dimensions of intrapreneurship are examined as open communication, existence of formal controls, intensive environmental scanning, organizational values, management support, employee initiative for decision making, employee rewarding, removing organizational obstacles, time availability for employee innovativeness and employee motivation. A questionnairre applied to small and medium sized manufacturing enterprises of Turkey to investigate the mostly used organizational factors effecting intrapreneurship.
