Abstract (EN)
Traditional textures located in the countryside are unique areas with their specific layout, architectural identity and social structure. These areas, shaped by the local character of the region they are located in, are our important heritage areas with their unique identities, traditional characteristics, and versatile data they carry. In traditional textures that stands out with their socio-cultural, economic and physical values; there are directional migration movements in due to changing production modes, technological developments and changing relations between urban and rural areas. Rural settlements, which emigrated for various reasons in the 1950s, underwent a new process of change with there reverse migration mobility in the 2000s. The increase in investments in rural areas and the desire of a group of citizens to settle in rural areas turn these settlements into new attraction areas. Küçükköy is one of the important settlements under the influence of migrations that cause spatial transformations in traditional tissues. The Küçükköy settlement has witnessed many migration movements from past to present. Until the 2000s, some of the local users were moved to Sarımsaklı and surrounding settlements for various reasons such as difficulties in accessing basic needs and financial in adequacies. The historical texture which lost its user experienced a deterioration and abrasion process due to the abandonment process. However, the migration of a group of citizens to Küçükköy due to the increasing awareness of ecological life in the 2000s and the desire to live intertwined with nature triggered a new change process for the settlement. The effects of migrations carried out in recent years have also been reflected in the original physical texture of the settlement and its social life. In the study conducted to examine the spatial transformations of the developing process in the structured tissue, the physical texture, architectural character and cultural characteristics of the settlement were examined and the changes in the texture, street and structure scale were revealed. In order to contribute to the sustainability of the region, conservation problems caused by the change have been identified and recommendations for conservation have been developed.
