Abstract (EN)

In this study, the aim is investigation of sensing properties of calix[4]arene derivatives, which is include amide groups and sulfur, coated QCM sensors towards several pharmaceutical active ingredient, such as ibuprofen, diphenhydramine, aminophenazone, naproxen, atenolol, paracetamol, fluorouracil, L-ascorbic acid in aqueous media. Calix[4]arene derivatives, CPhA and CPTA which is include different amide groups, was synthesized to use QCM system and another calix[4]aren derivative CPrA, which has alkyl groups, was synthesized to compare sensing properties of amide group effects. All calix[4]arene derivatives were characterizated by 1H-NMR spectrometry. QCM crystals were coated with calix[4]arene derivatives by soaking method. In liquid contact systems, calix[4]arene derivative coated QCM sensors were used to sensing studies towards different concentration of pharmaceutical active ingredient. Calix[4]arene 4, CPhA, CPTA, and CPrA derivatives were used for sensing studies. According to results, calix[4]arene CPhA derivative was shown most effective sensing properties and stoichiometric ratio because of having amide, carbonyl groups and aromatic rings. By using calix[4]arene CPhA derivative, had prepared different amount of QCM crystals to investigate sensing parameters towards different concentrations of pharmaceutical active ingredients. According to datas, Langmur, Freundlich and Scatchard isotherms was calculated to investigate adsorption and association constant. Also, repeatability of calix[4]arene CPhA coated QCM sensor was studied towards pharmaceutical active ingredients. According to results obtained, it was determined that calix[4]arene derivatives with functionalized amide groups shows that effective to detect different pharmaceutical active ingredient in aqueous media.
