Abstract (EN)

From the earliest ages of humanity to the present day, individuals who have come together around common facts have formed certain communities/nations. The most important factor that contributes to the existence of these communities formed by individuals coming together is the set of common values they have. Common value judgments form the basis of common culture and subsequently reveal cultural elements specific to each community/nation. These cultural elements have been transferred to subsequent generations through oral and written media over the years. In today's world, with the development of technology, digital channels have begun to come to the fore and have also given birth to a new cultural environment called 'digital culture environment'. The cartoon industry is also a sector within the digital culture environment. Cartoons visually process cultural concepts and present them to the audience in a concrete way. In this research, the place and importance of cartoons existing in the digital cultural environment in cultural transmission was examined, and this analysis was carried out specifically for the Aybek cartoon, which started broadcasting in 2020, had a 26-episode series prepared by Han Production and broadcast on TRT Çocuk channel.
