Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine the effects of liquid vermicompost application times (2, 4, and 6 days after the cover soil) and doses (control, 1 ml, 1.5 ml, 2 ml, 2.5 ml, 3 ml, and 3.5 ml per liter) on yield and quality of Agaricus bisporus L. cultivation at Ustun Mushroom Farm in Turhal district of Tokat between October and December 2018. In the experiment, yield and quality parameters (average mushroom weight, yield, firmness, color etc. of Agaricus bisporus L. were investigated. Some yield and quality parameters were significantly affected by liquid vermicompost application times and doses. The highest average mushroom weight was obtained at 3.5 ml/L dose (36.62 g) and the best yield was found out at same dose (16.82 kg/m2). The average mushroom weight and yield were not significantly affected by application times, but mushroom cap weight was significantly affected by application times. The most mushroom cap weight was determined at 6 day after the cover soil (21.86 g). The highest value of luminosity (L) was obtained 4 day after the cover soil, while the highest cap color value (L) according to the application dose was obtained from 3 ml/L dose application.
