Abstract (EN)

In this study, the relationship between the cultural dimension of Hofstede (1980) and climate for creativity were studied to determine. First, literature review was made about culture, organizational culture, organizational climate, and creativity and climate for creativity. The field study was made in a service sector company in Bursa by survey. The survey is consist of 66 questions; 9 demographic questions, 24 questions as Values Survey Modules 2013(VSM2013) and finally 33 questions about climate for creative. The total number of employees of the surveyed company is 129; 106 valid questionnaires were obtained as a result of the application. The resulting survey were entered into SPSS and correlation analysis were applied. As a result of correlation analysis it is discovered that there is a significant negative correlation between power distances- organizational climate for creativity and uncertainty avoidanceorganizational climate for creativity. On the other hand, a significant positive correlation between masculinity- organizational climate for creativity, long term orientation- organizational climate for creativity and individualism- organizational climate for creativity were determined. A negative weak correlation is determined between indulgence –climate for creativity. Key Words: Culture, Hofstede, climate for creativity, cultural dimensions.
