Abstract (EN)
Our county had been hosted a great deal of civilization in respect of geographical location. These civilizations were established and demolished in our territory. Therefore these civilizations left cultural heritages there. Cultural heritages are important in terms of knowing past of the any country and giving a direction to the future. Cultural heritages can be qualified as architectural works, historic sites, historic buildings, scientific and technologic works. Documenting with documentation studies of cultural heritages is very important against to danger of dissappearing and falling into ruin because of the human and nature. Documentation studies of cultural heritages has been used a lot of methods till today. These methods are investigated in two parts as traditional and modern methods. Traditional methods has been started to leave their place to modern methods because methods using with technologic improvoments enable to make precise documentation studies changes according to desired precision and outcome. From modern methods, terrestrial photogrammetry and terrestrial laser scanning are frequently used methods in the documentation of cultural heritage. Two field studies were determined within the scope of the study and 3D models were produced by terrestrial photogrammetry and ground laser scanning methods. The study area is a study on the size, resolution and accuracy of orthophotos produced by terrestrial laser scanning and terrestrial photogrammetric modeling of the civil architec- ture belonging to the Selinus Antique City in Antalya Gazipaşa and the recent Ottoman architectural work in the Karatay District of Konya Province. It is aimed that ground photogrammetry and ground laser scanning methods can be used as a holistic documentation together with documentation studies.
