Abstract (EN)

Turkey is known as one of the world's leading tourism regions and allows the application of many types of tourism here. One of them is cultural tourism. The main source of cultural tourism is ancient cities. In our country, which is quite rich in this respect, there are many ancient cities discovered by research. But the acquisition of these areas for tourism is not always carried out with a conscious approach. The aim of this study is to examine especially the city of Sillyon, which is an untouched city of the ancient Pamphylia region where Antalya, a vibrant tourism region, is located, in terms of cultural heritage tourism. For this purpose, the data was combined with face-to-face interview techniques from qualitative research approaches. The data obtained were evaluated within the framework of the four-step model within the scope of cultural heritage tourism. As a result of the research, it was determined that the city has a tourist attraction with its deep-rooted history and that the local people have a positive approach to the development of Tourism. In addition, ideas have been declared on the preservation, transfer and sustainability of heritage. Key Words: Cultural Heritage, Sillyon, Tourism.
