Kültür spesifik çeviri incelemesi: Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar'ın huzur romanının karşılaştırmalı analizi

In the study, a comparative analysis of the German translation version of the novel 'Huzur', written by Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar has been investigated in the context of the scientific principles of criticism. The culture-specific samples, selected from the novel, provide for the study the comparative critics. The desired point to be reached is to determine, how the culture-specific examples, selected from the source text, transferred by means of cultural elements in the target culture and how these elements are in the target culture receipted. The study is made up of four sections. The first section involves the translation process, translation studies, translation theory, translation criticism and theoretical information about culture. In the second section the subject of the study is firstly in the original language, then in the target language analyzed. In addition to this, information about the author and the translator of the work is presented. The third section consists of a comparative analysis made in accordance with the scientific information, obtained from the first section The last section is intended as a summary. The results of the comparative analyses are given and in accordance with these data, the possible solution offers are discussed. In this context, the comments are generated from the transfer of the work is mainly related not to structural, but to contextual properties.
