Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, the behavior of helical piles built in a dense sandy soil was investigated using numerical and analytical methods. In this study, the results of large-scale field tests were compared with the results of numerical and analytical studies and their accuracy was demonstrated. During these studies, helical plate number (N), helical plate location (G), helical plate diameter (D), helical plate spacing (S/D), pile embedding ratio (H/D) properties were investigated. In these analyses, disturbance and friction effects were taken into account. In numerical analyzes and analytical calculations, the factors affecting the bearing capacity of helical piles subjected to tension and compression effects were studied and optimum values for design were proposed. As a result of the numerical analysis made with Plaxis 2D; it has been determined that these parameters greatly affect the strength of the helical piles. Studies have shown that it is necessary to consider the effects of disturbance and friction in the design of helical piles.
