Separation in the aya in terms of its effect on Quran translations

Allah Almighty sent down the Holy Quran in Arabic and challenged the Arabs with this book. The leading poets of the Nuzul age were astonished by its unique and inaccessible verse, and although some believed and some did not, they could not hide their admiration for the Quran. This effective style of the Quran was naturally understood in its age. When the Islamic geography expanded and non-Arab elements embraced Islam, both tafsir and translation activities began as a result of the responsibility of conveying the Quran to them. Since every age brings its own problems, as we move away from the age of revelation, the problem of understanding the Quran correctly has become more difficult, both based on language and narration. Many tafsirs have been written to overcome these problems, and each author has shed light on his own environment. Nowadays, the tendency to understand the Quran only through its translation has increased considerably. Although it is pleasing that people are busy with the Quran. But considering that its original text is in Arabic, it is clear that efforts to make meaning through translation will not yield accurate results. In fact, many academic studies have been carried out to support this claim. An attempt has been made to reveal the importance of Arabic Language and Rhetoric in terms of its impact on the interpretation of the Quran. Articles, notifications and books have been written with various subheadings in each of the sciences of grammar, Sarf and rhetoric. All these show that correct understanding of the language of the Quran is of primary importance in understanding the Quran correctly. In this study, the subject of fasl, which is one of the important subjects of the science of rhetoric, will be examined in the context of its effect on the interpretation of the Quran. Since the most important element in the correct understanding and interpretation of the fasl is hidden in determining the reason for which the fasl was made, this study will focus on the fasl appreciations. It will show that the ayah with fasl may have different interpretations. In the study, first of all we will take a look at the translation and a at its history, then the conceptual framework of the fasl what is meaning that two sentences are separated from each other for some reason will be drawn. Afterwards, examples will be selected from the ayah containing the fasl and how they are interpreted will be given based on the tafsir literature. We will stated while commentators interpret the ayah with fasl, they look at the reason for the fasl. Afterwards, it will be determined what kind of appreciation they made.
