Abstract (EN)

The general purpose of this thesis is to bring the Holy Quran together with the needs of today's people and to offer solutions to these needs. Inner peace is seen as a concept that is extremely needed in our age. It seems that most people complain about a life lost in stress, boredom, depression, sadness and unhappiness. Of course, there must be methods to achieve peace in this life that has no return and is only allowed to be lived once. It is aimed to meet the needs of today's people by examining how the Quran responds to this need. Human beings are beings with the most perfect characteristics among all creatures. This being, consisting of soul and body, has emotions and thoughts that are in contact not only with the external world but also with the inner world. Our great book, the Holy Quran, expresses this event as the soul being breathed into the human being after he was created in the most beautiful way, thus showing that the human being is not only physical but also has a metaphysical feature. Just as the body needs food, the soul also needs nourishment. When it cannot provide the necessary nutrition, the soul loses its function. Our great book, the Holy Quran, offers us our prescription. "Hearts find peace only by remembering Allah." The reflection of the soul to the outside world is through emotions, and the place of emotions is the heart. Boredom and narrowness of the heart will also mean boredom and restlessness of the soul. When the verses in the Holy Quran in which the concepts of sesine and itmi'nan, which mean inner peace, are mentioned are analyzed; It is seen that the elements that will bring a person to inner peace have two factors: material and spiritual. The fact that tranquility is sent down only to believers as a help and gift from Allah, enabling believers to gain confidence and inner peace, shows the spiritual dimension of inner peace. Marriage is an example of the material aspect of inner peace, as it presents the human dimension of inner peace, the home and space dimension, and night offers the time dimension of inner peace, independent of belief. Knowledge, dhikr and faith are among the spiritual elements that lead a person to inner peace. What adds a unique value to our thesis and makes it important in this field is that the concept of inner peace has not been extensively researched in the context of the Holy Quran before.
