The synonym in holy Quran

The Arabic word al-taraduf which is translated into Turkish as the "sy-nonym" is a controversial issue.The word al-taraduf shows the strength of expression and the richness of Arabic language is examined in the context of acceptance and rejection, and starting with the fact that words have many meanings, the concept of al-furuq is emerged.Besides the emergence of the concept of al-furuq, al-taraduf and al-furuq are explored as two opposite concepts. Moreover, the linguists are categorized into two groups; advocates of al-taraduf and supporters of al-furuq.Al-Taraduf, which is examined as a concept of the language, is explored in the context of the Qur'an by considering the i'jaz of the Qur'an as the foundation. Refusers of al-taraduf in the context of the Qur'an state that each word of the Qur'an has a distinctive meaning so cannot be used in lieu of another one; as a result, supporter of al-taraduf would reject the i'jaz of the Qur'an. In fact, some scholars who accept the existence of al-taraduf in language reject the issue of al-taraduf in the Qur'an because of this concern.However, similar to the fact that al-furuq exists in the language, al-taraduf exists to the same extent. Moreover, language consists as a whole body. Sometimes in order to express a word its opposite meaning is used. Therefore, instead of rejecting al-taraduf in the Qur'an, considering the correlation of al-taraduf and al-furuq would help not refuting al-taraduf as a fact in the language and point out difference between the meanings of the mutaradif words.
