Özet (EN)

During the recitation of the Holy Qur' ān,, a musical harmony can be felt. While there are verses that have a poetic structure, the Quran can be defined as a text based on its general composition. Nevertheless, it has a unique style that can be easily recognized by almost every reader or listener. When recited at a slow pace, the harmony becomes clearer. At this point, the two-time beat that resembles the heart rhythm beneath the words becomes distinct enough to follow. The most striking aspect is that the Quran can be read from beginning to end in this manner. When the words and sentences that make up the text of the Quran integrate with numbers like one, one and a half, four long vowel rules, the harmony reaches its peak. Specifically, the rules of recitation indicated by one and a half long vowels, corresponding to the one and a half beats in music, seem to complicate the tracking of the two-time beat, yet they actually open the door to a different depth that contributes to the integrity between rhythm and meaning. For example, The analyses conducted on the selected verses provide clarity on this aspect of the subject. To clearly perceive this auditory feast and to be able to read while maintaining this harmony from the beginning to the end of the recitation, one needs a musical ear and knowledge of music theory. However, to read within the framework of the principles of traditional Qur'ān education, having a musical ear is sufficient. This is because these trainings occur through a master-apprentice relationship in the traditional practice method. Additionally, the Qur'ān is a miraculous book from which even those without a musical ear can learn to read at a certain level. This research explains certain key concepts related to the science of recitation and includes theoretical information about traditional Turkish music. The intersections of both fields are addressed in the context of music therapy and modern medicine, aiming to contribute to the new generation of Qur'ān education.
