Özet (EN)

This study aims to examine the female characters in the Quran, analyzing their types, models, construction methods, and linguistic features. The study begins by defining the concept of artistic narration and the term "character" within this context. It then presents a comprehensive definition of women, highlighting their significance and general characteristics. The thesis embarks on a detailed examination of Quranic female characters. It identifies the fundamental elements of characters, explores the various types of characters, and analyzes the diversity of these characters as main, supporting, and minor figures. Examples of female characters are meticulously scrutinized, encompassing various models such as mothers, wives, lovers, leaders, scholars, deviant women, sisters, and daughters. The construction of these characters is also dissected, delving into the role of descriptive, informative, and dialogue elements. The linguistic aspects of character construction are investigated, particularly the implications of naming or omitting female characters in Quranic narratives. The Quran distinguishes between good and bad female characters and emphasizes the lessons to be learned from each of them. Female characters in the Quran vary as main, supporting and extra characters. Female characters in the Quran play an important role in guiding the Muslim society to the right path.
