Hadis knowledge level of the Qur'an course teachers: The example of Gaziantep

In this study, the hadith knowledge levels of the Quran course teachers working in Gaziantep province, Şahinbey, and Şehitkâmil districts were considered. It is purposed that the Quran course teachers will recognize their level of knowledge of hadiths and thus contribute to the taking of the required actions by the relevant institutions. The Quran course teachers are not only responsible for teaching the Quran, but also enlightening the public on religious matters. The study consists of two main parts, theoretically and experimentally. Appropriate research methods and techniques are used for each section. In the theoretical part of the research, the conceptual framework of hadith science is given. In the experimental part of the study, the survey method was used as a data collection tool. At the end of the research; Depending on the demographic variables, it was determined that different answers were given regarding the expressions containing verses, authentic hadiths, false hadiths and proverbs and hadith method.
