Abstract (EN)

The Holy Qur'an is addressed to all people. Every person should read the Qur'an personally and think about the Qur'an. When the rules in the Qur'an are applied, a model of an exemplary society will surely be formed. For this reason, the Qur'an has been translated into various languages for every person to read and practice. The Qur'an is a divine book that contains aesthetic elements in it and affects everyone who reads it. In this regard, those who do not speak Arabic should resort to translations of the Qur'an written in an accurate and expressive language, both technically and in terms of meaning. For those who do not speak Arabic in Turkey, the Qur'an has been tried to be translated into Turkish in a language that is correct and meaningful both in terms of technique and meaning. About three hundred Turkish translations of the Qur'an have been written since the proclamation of the republic to date. In this thesis, we have superficially examined the translations of the Qur'an written by scholars in Turkey. We have examined in detail the work of Professor Mehmet Okuyan, who works at Ondokuz Mayıs University, entitled "Meâl-Tafsir", published in 2021 in terms of translation techniques. In this way, we will have conveyed the contributions of Turkish scholars to the Qur'an translation culture.
