Abstract (EN)

In this study, the role of the nafs's and the devil's waswasa, which negatively affects the lives of many people, is discussed. In preparation of the thesis, it was tried to put forward the Qur'anic solution ways in the fight against the waswasa by defining of the concept of waswasa in the Qur'an. In our study, qualitative data analysis was followed as the main method and the method of comparing tafsir texts through Qur'an text analysis was followed. The concept of waswasa, some assets and concepts related in waswasa has been examined; Qur'anic terms which express the meaning of waswasa and similar meaning of waswasa have been analyzed in the context of tafsir's texts. According to the result of our study the nafs and devil are the main elements that give waswasa. Devil in general refers to the qualification of human beings and demons who are the source of evil. Devil strives to deviate all believers or unbelievers. Even the prophets, who are the guide of humanity, have been exposed to the waswasa of devil. However Allah, has protected His verses from the negative influence of Devil's waswasa. The devil gives waswasa to man to deviate from the right path. Nafs can be deflecting with the suggestion of extreme desires. Besides this, the devil's waswasa is shaped by the some tendencies, weaknesses and fears in the human's nafs. In this respect, to gained to the human's nafs some positive qualities that are recommended in the Qur'an reduces the influence of the waswasa. Keywords: Qur'an, Nafs, Devil, Waswasa.
