Abstract (EN)
Keywords: Copper, Kure region, hydrometallurgy, mechanical activation, leaching efficiency Copper is a metal that has many using areas in both metallic form and compound form due to its mechanical, physical and chemical properties. The traditional method used in copper production is pyrometallurgical methods. However, due to both financial and environmental reasons, this method has been replaced by hydrometallurgical methods. In this study, it is aimed to obtain copper by dissolving in the acid solution with the help of hydrometallurgical processes of the copper in the sulfurous complex ores of the Küre region. In order to determine the effects of mechanical activation on leaching efficiency, the efficiency of copper obtained in chalcopyrite ore was compared before and after activation. Complex ores are generally evaluated with high temperature processes . Hydrometallurgical method can be used to be more sensitive to the environment . Various time, solid rate and hydrogen peroxide addition were studied on mechanically activated ore with hydrometallurgical processes. The leach studies of these parameters were made in sulfuric acid and the obtained solutions were analyzed by atomic absorption spectroscopy. In the experiments, it was passed to the copper solution in the ore with the help of H2SO4 and separated from the other components by filtration method. According to the experimental results, the highest efficiency was measured in the study of addition of 20 % H2O2 by volume in 3 molar H2SO4 for 2 hours on mechanically activated ore and this efficiency is 66,2%.
