Abstract (EN)
This systematic literature review addresses the relationship between the global climate crisis and forced migration. Global climate change poses a threat that results in the disruption of climate systems worldwide and an increase in extreme weather events. These changes impact people's living conditions and trigger inevitable migration events. The aim of this study was to systematically review the existing scientific literature to understand the effects of the global climate crisis on forced migration. The review revealed the presence of factors triggered by climate change that contribute to forced migration. Climate change has various impacts on forced migration. These impacts include an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters, degradation of agricultural resources and food security issues, and factors such as social and political instability. These effects lead to the destruction of people's habitats, disruption of agricultural activities, economic hardships, and social conflicts, triggering incidents of forced migration. Therefore, climate change is regarded as a complex web of factors that influence forced migration on a global scale. This research contributes to the understanding of the relationship between the global climate crisis, development and forced migration and provides a basis for future policy and action in this area. Keywords: Climate change, Climate migrant, Climate policies, Adaptation strategies, Climate justice.
