The rising power of global capitalism: Creative industries in the context of multinational corporations

Global capitalism is the most effective system that has survived to this day by being nourished by many elements throughout the historical process. Particularly neoliberal policy elements expressing the economic field of global capitalism, likewise industry 4.0 elements expressing today's technology field and finally digitalization elements in the field of art have added many innovations to the twenty-first century global capitalist system and enabled the system to gain a new dimension. All these elements of twenty-first century global capitalism are also effective in the formation of creative industries, which are the rising power of the twenty-first century. As a matter of fact, each industry included in the creative industries, which is the new discourse of global capitalism, is the most important concept that brings together art, technology, and economic values in global economies. In this way, creative industries are easily included in the market mechanism through global capitalism have managed to become a new dynamic force of global capitalism in a sense. Multinational companies, which are one of the most important actors of global capitalism, are undoubtedly behind the strong dynamic structure of the creative industries in the capitalist system. Multinational companies are institutions that grow and develop creative industries with their technological infrastructure, economic power, and ability to create cultural and artistic values. In this respect, every activity carried out in the fields of economy, technology, and art, where multinational companies dominate in the global capitalist system, serves the creative industries.
