The Arab region is characterized as a dry and barren area. The Arab region is considered one of the regions that is most vulnerable to climatic changes. Undoubtedly, climate change will lead to social and economic deterioration as well. Therefore, the League of Arab States (LAS) has begun plans to reform environmental and climate changes through its commitment to global governance policies, such as the League of Arab States' adherence to the Paris Agreement of 2015 and the thirteenth item of the United Nations on sustainable development. Above all, the environment and climate change have placed at the top of the 2030 sustainable development agenda of Arab countries. The LAS has cooperated with regional and nongovernmental environmental organizations and institutions to find solutions to mitigate or adapt to climate change. It is important to note that the thesis will focus on understanding the measures taken by the League of Arab States to confront environmental and climatic changes in the Arab area. This thesis will focus on the measures taken by the LAS to confront environmental and climatic changes in the region. It will attempt to understand and recognize the relationship between global governance and climate change. In addition, it will analyze and clarify the impact of environmental and climate changes on Arab states.
