Özet (EN)

Globalism process is on a turning point in today's world. West-centered financial solutions used for solving the economic problems emerged after the II. World War has been insufficient for solving the economic problems emerged after the 2008 financial crisis. Following the 2008 financial crisis, anti-globalist and protective policies has increased in the West and the USA. Alongside this developments, serious question marks regarding the future of globalism has emerged following the BREXIT process. International liberal order and its institutions which have been steering the world economy and politics especially in the last century has started to lose power with their patrons who created them. Subject of this study is analysing the effects of China's Belt and Road Initative project on globalization process. With this study, the conceptual framework of China's Belt and Road Initiative will be drawn. Additionally, determining how BRI will change economic and political cyclical world order and how it will affect countries is targeted. Study's findings achieved by subjecting the data which was acquired by survey study applied to participants in various sectors with knowledge on the subject and working on Belt and Road Initiative to Mann Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis test show that the Belt and Road Initiative will affect globalization process in economic and political aspects, will present economic opportunities for Turkey and Turkey should follow a balanced path in political conjuncture on global scale.
