Globalization, its effects on developing countries and Turkey

165 SUMMARY The globalization concept that used to explain the progresses in the last decade of world history has been a subject in different respects. This study aims to put forward these different senses, which is widely loaded to the globalization concept in daily life and scientific discussions, in a compact form. The innovations after the Cold War period, which reveals this concept, implies that humanity is living a one sided polarization period. This New World Order has created disappointment in the manner of expectations and its meaning. Globalism speeches, which asserts ideologies have died and humanity has integrated, has weakened against increasing dilemmas and unstabilities. The New World Order's institutions and philosophy has been faced of violent critiques and actions. Because the inequality and poverty has been increasing tendency even in the countries take advantage from globalization, the new seekings are being popular. In this study, the effects of globalization on the world nations has been tried to examine in several ways. The new seekings directed to change the content of the globalization concept, which associate negative complications in people's imaginations, is growing its importance. The question of how the globalization progress has reached a position in an atmosphere illuminated by the shocking innovations at the beginning of the 21st century is a question among others have been taken in this study.
