Abstract (EN)

Basic approach to globalization that the modern period ends with the process of globalization and also it is believed the facts about the modern period have expired. Therefore, if we accept nationalism as a modern phenomenon the main claim of this approach is that nationalism will also be absorbed and eliminated through the globalization process. However, the mainly thought nationalism as a remnant of modernity while parallel to the claim of the transformational approach nationalism as attempted to show in this thesis actually nationalism contrary to the expectation of the extinguishedness it has survived. In this thesis, we examine of problematic nationalism is limited to the Nationalist Movement Party in Turkey. My hypothesis is, as the transformational approach advocates, that nationalism has not absorbed in the globalization process and also it is relatively change driven by globalisation with some internal and external dynamics. In addition it continues to exist in new forms. We support this claim by exposing the changes and transformations in the axis of the NMP nationalism within the framework of internal and external factors. In this respect, the method of our thesis is a theoretical also the study based on the theoratical research techniques. Finally, It is a descriptive study.
