Özet (EN)
Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) are biocompatible, 100% biodegradable, biopolymers that do not exhibit toxic properties. Polyhydroxyalkanoates have long, short, medium chain lengths acording to the carbon numbers they contain and have different mechanical and physical properties. In the process up to the sun, in agriculture, animal husbandry, plastic industry and medical etc. PHAs have been produced and worked for use in many different areas. Among these, the most medical applications draw attention. Especially medium chain length PHA (Mcl-PHA) is promising with its features for its soft tissue repair and drug delivery system. The aim of this study is to produce Mcl-PHA in Pseudomonas mendocina strains and to purify it using different methods then to prepare a system that containing curcumin to be used for healing wounds. In order to determine the monomer structure of Mcl-PHA produced for this purpose and to determine the physicochemical properties of the wound healing film, in vitro characterization tests were performed. The effectiveness of the system was determined by cell culture studies and the curcumin release profile was evaluated.
