Abstract (EN)
The effect of the transformation of the women's transition from dry farming to irrigated agriculture. Titled with "Comparative Analysis of the Class Perspective of Koyunluca and Parapara Villages" this thesis the Southeastern Anatolia Project has found the widest part of the local Harran as a practice field, the investigation of the transformation of socia-cultural and socia-economic situation of woman is taken into consideration. In this field the presence of an improvoment in concrete terms have explored the women's gains and what are the obstacles to the development of the women's current situation. İn this thesis theorotical and conceptual part, gender, the main concepts of development phase in Turkey with Southeast oriented policies and positioning of women, secondly different scientific fields especially patriarchik and the class perspective Women Theories has been discussed. The place of women in the stratification system are dealth with at least three levels: • Biosexual positioning and differentiation of women • With the existing divisions in the cultural values system. • It is discussed in terms of positioning in the class These three situations are interwined most of the time. In the practical part of this research a) The general location and history of the two villages, tribal relations, socio-economic and cultural history, b) The development process, the development of agriculture and irrigation c) The status of women with in the available data, roles, gender, socio-economical situation, their position in development. Problems and achievements are examined from the classical perspective and by making a comparative description, the descriptions and the interpretations are included. In this further research, squirearchy which is unique to the region and with the traditional discourse and proprietary formats/class divisions, the relationship between the women's transformation/barriers have been mentioned in the context of gender. With these findings there is some obstacles, the women's development as active individuals and having roles, there is a semi- feudal traditional structure, with the property relations substantially that conclude patriarchy prevents leading to these conclusions.
